When Great Wolf Lodge needed to improve its ecommerce conversion rates, the Formula.Monks team mobilized to develop better data capture that informed an updated UX design. We worked alongside internal product managers to uncover weaknesses in its customer journey and develop a web UX that boosted conversion and seamlessly integrated with its booking platform.
Following our success with its ecommerce initiative, we expanded our efforts into improving its mobile app experience. What was once little more than a conduit for digital coupons became a robust, multifunctional outlet for exploring the Lodge’s events and offerings, in-app dining purchases, and signing up for its new loyalty program.
The Voyagers Club is the first-ever loyalty program introduced by Great Wolf Lodge. At the beginning of the initiative to implement this new benefit, Formula.Monks conducted a Spark! workshop to help define a streamlined program roadmap. We determined a rollout plan for the Voyagers Club, and remain involved in the product development as it continues to be introduced to customers in sequential phases.

The events of the 2020 pandemic had a calamitous effect on the hospitality industry, and Great Wolf Lodge was no exception. While several of its tech vendors responded by ending their contracts, Formula.Monks remained steadfast in our commitment to serving our client through these challenging times. As the world slowly returned to normal, we ramped up to work with Great Wolf Lodge in all of its technology units to ensure cohesion across its digital experiences.
